Robot Magazine is an American bi-monthly consumer level magazine founded in 2005 which contains news,
reviews and articles about robots.

Topics commonly include: how hobbyists can build and program robots from kits or from scratch; results of robot
competitions and conventions; and how educators in colleges and high schools are incorporating the building
and programming of robots into their teaching of science, engineering and math.

The first issue featured an article written by Jamie Hyneman, Grant Imahara and Adam Savage entitled: "The
MythBusters Team Test the Vex Robotics Design System."
IEEE Robotics and Automation Magazine by http://www.ieee.org/organizations/pubs/magazines/rob.htm

The IEEE Robotics and Automation Society is a professional society of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic
Engineers or IEEE.The Society states in its constitution that it "is interested in both applied and theoretical issues
in robotics and automation. Robotics is here defined to include intelligent machines and systems used, for
example, in space exploration, human services, or manufacturing; whereas automation includes the use of
automated methods in various applications, for example, factory, office, home, or transportation systems to
improve performance and productivity.

Robotics & Automation Magazine deals with prototyping, demonstration and evaluation, and commercialization of
robotic and automation technology and systems. It serves as the major forum for the application of theory to
real-world systems, with an emphasis on implementation.
